Expanding your choices to a variety of books and magazines to read, the library provides access to a few online contents for e-books and e-magazines. Some are subscribed to have a licensed which is required login, only available to The Alice Smith School students and staff. Some are freely available to everyone. Check out more details below.

Press Reader

Press Reader gives you access to a variety of newspapers and magazines.


Use your own devices to borrow e-books from Wheelers. Login requires for students, staff and parents. Parents will need to register through wheelers website, the approval within a day. Students and staff logins are updated at the beginning of the school year. Restriction to access higher level content books applicable to students based on year groups.


Bookflix is an online website that pairs video storybooks from Weston Woods with related nonfiction from Children’s Press and other trusted Scholastic imprints. It is published by Scholastic Inc. The contents are categorised into different themes such as animals and nature, people and places, earth and sky and etc. Please contact the library for our school login.

Toon Books

TOON Books consisting comics designed for children ages three and up. Each TOON book has been vetted by educators to ensure that the language and the narratives will nurture young minds. 


The myON digital library, containing thousands of books online. You get to choose to read it yourself or let the computer read it for you. MyON only available to students and staff that requires login. Parents can access to myON at home with the children and the contents restriction are applies to students based on the year groups.








Tumble books library includes animated talking picture books, chapter books, videos, nonfiction titles, playlists, books in languages other than English such as French and Spanish, graphic novels and math stories. Please contact the library for our school login.

Story Online

The SAG-AFTRA Foundation's award-winning children's literacy website, Story Online, streams videos featuring celebrated actors reading children's books alongside creatively produced illustrations.
