David M. Schwartz is the author of the children's books that make math and science come alive. He wrote his very first book 'How Much is a Million? and now has written more than 50 titles and also articles for magazines.

He visited our school last April 2015, and presented two assemblies for Reception and KS1, and KS2, emphasising the importance of maths and inquiry in our lives. He shared his love of numbers, big and small. The most popular demonstration was the unveiling of ever increasing bags of popcorn that cumulated in a bag containing 10,000 pieces!
