Coral Tulloch: Oct 2012

Coral Tulloch is an author and illustrator of over 60 books for children in fiction and non-fiction. Coral loves Antarctica, which she visits when she can as artist-in-residence. Many of her books were written by her Antarctic experiences, one of them is "Sydney of the Antarctic" that she brought to share with Alice Smith children.

The story is about a delightful journey of a lion-hearted soft toy that is accidentally left behind when his owner visits the Antarctic. Poor Sydney learns how to survive the Antarctic as he puts into practice those skills applied by many great explorers and scientists before him. Find out what will happen to Sydney throughout the journey.
