Librarian's Knowledge Sharing Workshop - Job Alike Weekend: Program

For Librarians from FOBISSEA Schools and the Kuala Lumpur Librarians' Network on 5 & 6th October 2012.

Thursday, 4th October

A tour for participants who would like to see the libraries at three KL International schools.  Transportation costs will be additional to workshop fees, and will be MYR60 (USD20) per person. Individual receipts will be provided.


Transport leaves KL Sentral at 8.45(station for buses & trains)  / Boulevard Hotel at 0900 hours

0945: Arrive at International School @ParkCity
         ISP@PC is a 1 to 1 ipad school that opened in 2012.

1115: Arrive at Garden International School
         Garden International School (Primary) is undergoing a major renovation scheduled for completion at the end of August

1245: Arrive at The Alice Smith School (Primary) for refreshements and library tour

1345: Depart for KL Sentral (station for buses & trains) / Boulevard Hotel

Friday 5th and Saturday 6th October

During the JAWS the organisers will be collecting agenda items for this session. There will be a brief discussion and a group will be set up to discuss these issues online

Friday 5th October - Social Networking

Buffet dinner at Essence - The Sheraton Imperial - Kuala Lumpur at 1900hrs for 1930hrs.

We have secured a highly discounted rate for the first 22 participants to register for the dinner. The cost of the dinner will appear on your invoice stating:

Conference Dinner - Menu A -  MYR70.00 or Conference Dinner - Menu B -  MYR110.00

Menu A is an all inclusive buffet dinner. The diner is responsible for their own drinks.

Menu B is an all inclusive buffet dinner including free-flow wine.

Partners and friends will receive the discount if the dinner is not fully subscribed to by participants.
